LONG
TERM BOARDING
For long term boarders (anticipated
stay of 30 days or longer), the cost for boarding $20.00/day 1 dog. $30.00/day 2 dogs. Each additional dog is discounted
to $10.00 per day.
Cats are $15.00/day 1 cat. $20.00/day 2 cats. Each additional cat is discounted to $5.00/day.
You will be invoiced on a monthly basis.
An initial deposit representing 2 months of boarding expenses is due at time of drop off. All monthly payments are required
in advance of the boarding month and must be paid within 10 days of receipt of an invoice. Should your pet leave prior
to the months end, the amount due will be prorated and the balance refunded to you when your pet leaves the premises.
SHORT TERM BOARDING
For short
term boarders (anticipated stay of 29 days or less), the cost for boarding is $20.00/day 1 dog. $30.00/day 2 dogs.
Each additional dog is discounted to $10.00 per day.
Cats are $15.00/day
1 cat. $20.00/day 2 cats. Each additional cat is discounted to $5.00/day.
Payment in full is due at the time you drop off
your pet.
INTEREST & COSTS DUE TO NON-PAYMENT
Any invoices not paid within 10 days of receipt will accure interest at a rate
of 3% per month. Additionally, you agree to pay all costs, including attorney’s fees incurred by Carols Critter
Care (CCC) in an attempt to collect an overdue invoice.
PET SURRENDER
Non-payment of invoices lasting 30 days or more will constitute automatic surrender
of your pet to Carols Critter Care. At the end of the 30-day period, you hereby agree that Carols Critter Care may place your
pet into rescue, without further notice to you. However you agree to remain completely responsible for payment of all
boarding fees and veterinary expenses that become due while Carols Critter Care retains responsibility and possession of your
pet, even following the 30 day surrender period. It is your responsibility to make alternative arrangements with Carols
Critter Care for removal of your pet or to notify Carols Critter Care of your intention to pay the invoices.
CCC RESPONSIBILITY
Carols Critter Care agrees to accept the temporary responsibility for your pet
and to provide properly for its welfare, including exercising due care to keep the premises sanitary and properly enclosed.
However, all pets are boarded without the liability on CCC part for loss or damages to your pet from disease, death, theft,
fire, escape or injury from another person or another pet on premises or from other unavoidable cause not due to the negligence
of CCC.
Further, you agree to notify
CCC of any prior history of aggression by your pet against people or other animals. Should you fail to do so, you agree
to be responsible to CCC for payment of any damages or for injuries your pet may cause to other pets or people at CCC.
HEALTH STATUS
You further certify
that your pet has been vaccinated as required by law, including the bordatella vaccination. If your pet has not been
vaccinated and wormed, CCC will arrange to have these services performed at your expense. Additionally, any other veterinary
services required or requested by you while at CCC will be performed at an additional charge. It will be your responsibility
to pay for all such out of pocket expenses upon receipt of CCC invoice.
It is your responsibility to notify CCC of any special needs, including dietary restrictions
and medications requested for your pet by listing them on the Pet Intake Information Form.
EMERGENCY AUTHORIZATION
You agree to provide CCC owners
and staff with complete discretion and authorization to treat your pet in an emergency and to take all reasonable steps to
provide medical treatment or intervention which in the opinion of CCC would be best for its health, welfare and safety.
CCC will take reasonable steps, whenever practicable, to notify you in the event of an emergency.
